I'm not intensely huge on Star Trek: The Next Generation...I was more of a Voyager chic. But there's one thing for certain...I lived to hear Captain Picard utter those magical words: "Wesley...Shut Up!"
Well either that or for Worf to break that stupid kid in two, but you can't have everything in life.
*laughs* I hated Wesley. He was a lame character they put on just for the younger teens- who probebly didn't like him either.
Voyager's my favorite series too, but probably just because I grew up watching that one. I love them all really! (Except Enterprise!)

My brothers and parents are huge on trek. So I kinda grew up with "TNG this, TNG that" cause that's what was on at the time. I kinda only just got into Voyager.
*grins* I was never a TNG girl, and the episodes I did watch I found Wesley a great annoyance. Voyager was much better, in my opinion. Which reminds me, I should maybe rent the first couple seasons again...

xD Yeah. Seeing the first ep (I think CareTaker?) was what got me into it. I was just like "Ah! That was so cool!" and I just saw "Worst Case Senario" today when there's the Hollow-novel about a mutiny. It was pretty good
Wesley was just plain ANNOYING in the first two seasons, but then he got better. LOVE the stamp, may use it if I can figure out how to put it up on my journal!

Wesley Crusher was actually based on Gene Roddenbury's (sp?) teenage self. He wasn't added for the girls to tune in, (even that's part of why I still tune in). Read up on his character, he's not as horrible as you think. He was sweet, and just happened to be a TEENAGER trying to be taken seriously and balance a male-ego on top of it. Give Wes a break.

*holds up hands and grins* A fan girl are we? Don't worry, I don't hate Wesley that much. Only a tiny amount compared to how much I hate Data once he put that stupid chip in his head

We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
