I've been asked in the past how I do my stars and/or sparkles in pics, and I'd thought I'd share the love here. Way back when I used to just dot the picture with a single brush, but I found that it's really the glowy around the star that makes it, well, a star.
So you can either do three airbrush dots of increasingly smaller size and stuff, or you can use Leona Windrider's handy-dandy Lazy Star brush and save yourself some trouble. It's a Photoshop 7.0 brush, and all you have to do is put it in the presets/brushes folder where you've installed Adobe, and bingo, instant Lazy Star.
This is just a simple make-your-life-easier brush, so you can use it however you like. It would be cool to see what you make, though, so feel free to drop me a link of your pic if you use it
